Quinta Velha, which is portugues for Old Farm, is beautifully restored while creating 3 apartments, one of which is for the resident owners use, and two very comfortable apartments Papoula and Girassol,
furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Each apartment has its own private entrance. Wheelchair friendly for disabled visitors, extra wide doors and easy access through front and rear of the apartment. It is nestling at the foot of the Monchique Mountains and close to Alvor. Relaxing rural location, set all in its own grounds with extensive terraces, pool and gardens, away from the hustle and bustle and yet only 15 minutes drive to beaches, golf courses, and many local amenities, e.g. Alcalar. Visitors of any age can try their hand at painting on ceramic tiles in our studio, creating their own souvenir - we will fire their work during their stay in our kiln for them to take home. |

Gas and electric are covered by the rental charge. Bed linen and towels are provided. Large coloured towels are provided for the sun beds by the pool, but our guests are asked to bring towels for the beach. |

payment |

Once you have received confirmation of availability and your flights, a deposit of 25 % is payable, receipt of which we will acknowledge. Please let us know your flight details as possible. Balance payable 4 weeks before arrival or in cash (Euros only) on your arrival. Sterling cheques are acceptable with exchange rate ruling at the date of cheque. |

The fastest way to go to the Algarve is by aeroplane to FARO. You arrange your low-cost flight to FARO simply via Internet. The easiest way to go to Girassol in Alvor is by taxi from Faro airport. To learn the Algarve and other parts of
Portugal better, we advise you to rent a car or a scooter. You can also rent a car at Faro airport or locally. We advise you to make arrangements in advance, e.g. using Internet. |
